Step 1: Right-click on your Windows start button and choose Explore. You may have to click on the C drive which shows files and folders often hidden from view.
Step 2: Next, you will have to click on Tools
Step 3: In Tools, choose the Folder Options and then go to the View Tab where you can choose to view hidden files and folders
Step 4: Select the ‘show’ option in order to view the hidden files and then click Apply and then OK
Step 5: Next, click on the option of Protected Operating System files and then go to tools as well.
Step 6: There, select the “folder options” and then choose the View tab.
Step 7: Deselect the hide option and click Apply and OK
Step 8: Now, you will come across a folder called “config.msi” and you must right-click it and Rename.
Step 9: And the end of the file, you need to add the extension .old and then hit Enter.
